Chrome Specforce is a futuristic sci-fi shooter. Humankind united under the Federation begins the colonization of other planetary systems in a constant search of natural resources and living space. Soon, the power of Federation authorities overwhelmed by the fast pace of expansion is limited to granting terraforming licenses among competing Corporations. Planet after planet the whole frontier is being taken over by powerful and harsh syndicates. Left unsupervised, the new worlds become perfect breeding grounds for unprecedented in range criminal activity.

Slowly but inevitably, mankind is drifting towards anarchy. Successful terrorist attacks on high ranking Federation officials intensify the situation further. Insurgents acting under the influence of unidentified stimulator based in synthetic enzymes are more resistant, aggressive and agile. Initial investigation on the substance origin leads to the laboratory facilities of one of the terraform corporations.
